The Charlotte Woodworkers Association (CWA) is a nonprofit woodworking club in Charlotte, NC. For just $50 per year, you’ll join a welcoming community of woodworkers, get access to our shop and classes, and enjoy exclusive member benefits. Whether you’re brand new to woodworking or have decades of experience, CWA is the best place in Charlotte to learn, build, and share.

If you would like to join our organization, download our Membership Application (including liability waiver) (in PDF Format).  The membership application and LiabilityWaiver must be signed and returned before using any shop equipment.

You may bring the membership application and liability waiver to the next meeting and hand them to the Secretary, Treasurer, or email them to Tr*******@******************rs.org.

    • Members can RSVP for classes and shop time through our website’s event calendar. Some classes are free; others may have a small materials fee.

    • Our Learn and Build projects emphasize developing woodworking skills—such as joinery, shaping, and finishing—while allowing participants to complete a handcrafted project they’ll take home. Experienced woodworkers teach these sessions and combine both education and hands-on building.
